COVID-19 Exposure notice

Clarification about our in-office COVID-19 exposure notice:

There were two notices that were communicated to patients regarding our in-office exposure for COVID-19.

  1. A message was sent through Rosch and/or constant contact that our office was being closed for the day. The reason for the closure was that we were deep cleaning our offices and it does not mean you were in our office during the time a potentially infectious employee was in office.

  2. An email was sent regarding the exposure notifying you that you were in one of our offices on a day where one of our employees could have been infectious. You would have only received this email if you were in-office on the same day as our potentially infectious employee. Due to HIPAA laws, we are not able to disclose the identity of the employee. If you had close contact with any of our employees on a day where an employee was potentially infectious, it would be prudent to follow the precautions listed in the letter (Close contact is defined by the CDC as being within 6 feet for a cumulative of 15 mins or more). Given that AAMG meets (and often exceeds) CDC standards, there is a very low risk that you would contract COVID-19 in our offices.

Please do not hesitate to reach back out to shall you have any questions.
