Michelle Huffaker, MD

Dr. Michelle Huffaker received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed Internal Medicine residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy/Immunology at Stanford University.

 

Dr. Huffaker joined the Allergy and Asthma Medical Group in 2017. Dr. Huffaker is also the Director of Clinical Translational Medicine in the Allergy Portfolio at Immune Tolerance Network, an international clinical research consortium, supported by the National Institutes of Health, and affiliated faculty at the University of California San Francisco. Her work with the Immune Tolerance Network focuses on clinical trials in allergy. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and she has been an invited speaker at national and international allergy conferences.

Dr. Huffaker is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and a board member of the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Foundation of Northern California (AAIFNC).

Dr. Huffaker grew up in Michigan and early on developed a love for the outdoors. When not in the office, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and most of all spending time with her husband and children.
