Dr. Katherine Gilbert completed her undergraduate training in Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University and completed medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She then traveled to North Carolina to complete her pediatric residency followed by a fellowship in combined adult and pediatric Allergy/Immunology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.Dr. Gilbert joined Allergy and Asthma Medical Group in 2015. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Gilbert has a special interest in asthma in addition to her interests in seasonal allergies, atopic dermatitis and food allergies.Dr. Gilbert’s outside interests include cooking, reading, travel and spending time with her family. She grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
